I'm not usually one for puzzle games but sensitivity looks intriguing. The music is fantastic and the visuals are very appealing. It looks like it becomes quite a head scratcher in later levels. Very cool indeed.

Gold Star Team Update:

 

There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding Sensitivity, so I am going to clear it up.

 

1. The game is Finished and ready to sell. There’s no more waiting
2. There won’t be a physical release. The game is for the Neo Geo CD and it runs in Mame or Neoraine. We were worried that there wouldn’t be enough people interested in a physical release to spend the money.
3. Future releases will be physical. We wish Sensitivity was a physical release, but the reception was cold despite all our efforts to promote the game
4. We are doing another Kickstarter. This time, the game is ready, and whoever supports it will receive a copy.
5. We have three tiers - the ability to support the Kickstarter without pledging; pledge $15 to receive a copy of the game; and $25 to receive the game and OST
6. We have a very small goal of $400 to sell the game. Late comers can still pledge or support Sensitivity (people who support the Kickstarter late will still receive the game.) We are trying to make this as simple as possible.

 

Your support will determine the fate of Gold Star Team and whether we will continue making games for the Neo-Geo. Sensitivity is a challenging, fantastic game. Nothing like it has ever been done on the Neo Geo before.

 

Please give us a chance; we won’t disappoint!

Anthony had a request for me: GURURIN!

This was created in 1994 by the company FACE (with a little input by the company Minato Giken) and it's a weird puzzle game with a theatrical play motif: the "puzzle pieces" are actually actors and actresses in costume!  And the "well" that they fall into is actually a stage.  The goal is to connect 3 (or more) of a kind (there's a pink old man, a yellow girl, an orange woman, a purple robed man, a grey fat man, and a green vested man).  You can't rotate the pieces-- you can only move them left or right, or pull down on the joystick to bring them in faster.  You can however rotate the whole stage 45 degrees left or right, one turn at a time, to shift the pieces; but once the characters enter the stage you can't rotate it.  This will shift the pieces into a new formation that might result in one or more eliminations.  The eliminations turn the pieces into warrior characters and fly off the screen (!).  In 1P mode, you just play till you lose; that scenario being when you place pieces where there are already pieces at that edge.  In 1P vs. CPU mode, it's a story mode in which you face 8 opponents and you can continue in order to see the ending.  In 1P vs. 2P, you battle a friend in a "best of 3" format.  One extra puzzle piece in all modes can help to eliminate pieces in a column, give bonus points, rotate the stage extra times, increase difficulty, or eliminate all pieces of one color.  The game feels unfinished at times, and is not terribly interesting outside of the rotation aspect IMHO.  Bad Engrish too, as this was initially a Japan-only release.

Same here M-S. I have friends and relatives down in South America that are bummed out because of this. Hopefully there will be options available for gamers to have access towards it bro.
