Hi guys,

 

This morning, were with Retro Marky. Marky is the proud owner of a custom MVS unit. Marky is new to the Neo-Geo community, and were glad to welcome him aboard to the amazing world of Neo-Geo. Let's see what he has to say on his new unit and games shall we? :)

Two incredible Neo Geo shmups at the Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield Illinois near Chicago - Last Resort and Pulstar, both cleared by Pete Hahn.

 

Hey Parallax,

 

Very nice indeed bro. Thank you for sharing thesew two videos with us. Pete surly has mad gaming skills and really showed them in these videos. Wouldn't mind get him aboard on the Neo-Geo thread for sure! :)

Back with TGApuleius doing another cool video for us. Here was see a gameplay video of him playing Fatal Fury Special for the Super Famicom. Enjoy.

 

From the description,

"Some gameplay from Garou Densetsu Special, released stateside as Fatal Fury Special. Played on a Super Famicom ran through a Framemeister and recorded with an Elgato. The music is pretty catchy, but the voice snippets sound like they were recorded in a barrel."

Hey Dr,

 

For me, its the classic CRT in which they were originally meant to play. I use a 24 inch Sylvania CRT unit to play my classic games. Really looks good when playing Neo-Geo titles.

 

As for your second question, I personally don't mind about HDMI mods. In fact I think its a great option to have and the more the marrier on your CMVS unit.

Back with MitsukoStudios doing another fun video for us. This time its with World Heroes.

 

From the description,

"In the 4th episode we played World Heroes on the NEO GEO AES. The game was played with an official NEO GEO AES controller and console.

If you'd like to challenge us and try to go further then feel free to record your game and share it with us ^_^

Thank you for your kind words. Yes I am a very happy owner of an MVS, took me two years to find the "right" one and bite the bullet. My plan is to make a video every 2 weeks more or less and do my top 5 games of the moment.

I look forward to this journey immensely although I suspect my atari 2600 is weeping in the corner and already plotting revenge on the MVS!! :)

Mine is a HDMI machine and I love the quality on a LCD TV. I do wish however I had other options (scart etc) but I can't complain at all about the quality. It looks amazing! :)
