I dug up my old experiments with using "mini" 3-ring binders as AES cases:

I never actually 3D printed the insert to make them proper "cases" but that's totally doable. Heck, I might even find a way to do it with cardboard on a Cricut cutting machine where it will just clamp onto the rings and hold the game. More people could use these binders as cases if there were multiple ways to convert them.

You're right Emmett. Sadly it looks like the common games are the best way to purchase a box. Hopefully as the years past, the prices on these unofficial boxes will come down and can buy them for much less.

Do you have any contacts with SNK? Perhaps they can sell us some snap lock cases since they are producing then for special editions of Switch and PS4 games.

I wish I had it, somehow it's gone, but I had a picture of my MVS2F board.  I do have these I snipped from my phone into facebook last night so they could see what I was after.  The detached one you can see how bad off it was when I removed it, that was held on using electrical tape.  The other just was really finicky and a reflow of some fresh solder got it almost 100% as I said before.  At least the creative stunt I tried on #2 got the thing working more or less.

 

Now to try and find a US based source to get some form of EL panel wiring hookup and parts so that can be made right too.

 

Oh by the way I got a custom DS card in the mail today, has the whole MVS library on it.   Yeah I know shady, but very fun and handy to have for quick play when the arcade just isn't as suitable to fire up.  It's from a guy on ebay but had him customize it to include the library and not just most of it knowing some won't run as nice as others which I didn't mind.

I do have contacts with a few SNK employees Emmett. We did a few Q&A article with ArcadeAttackUK in the past 2-3 years. I don't know if they have connections with suppliers on making them though. They are marketing, to programmers at the company.

Definitely this product is proving to be more and more capable.  However, I just wondering what else Neo Geo has in store hardware wise here in the near future.

I was literally working with an MVH-2F when you posted that.  

A local guy was having sync issues and a bad BIOS on that board. I burned him UniBIOS4 and NeoDIAG ROM and tested the rest of the cabinet/PSU with my MV-1.

The manual shows two headphone jacks but the one by the BIOS appears unpopulated.

Hah yeah funny timing.  That is strange seeing that as the board is intended to have 2 and the memory card slot as well.  Lucky you man, you can make unibios4 chips?!  I can't do this, never was capable at the time of ordering one when raz sold them, and then one day he pulled the plug.  I thought the changes to it, on top of the pick n mix setup for the 161 was genius, basically a MVS within an MVS singling out all those unique games +the svc chaos title while isolating the ghetto stuff.
