I was under the assumption that Joomla will create valid stuff by default. Thanks für the hint, cause it shows that this is not the case. I'll have a look. Any tips how to test with "older" browsers? +JAC! Posted September 6, 2014 Author Share Posted September 6, 2014 IE 8 and 9 had issues (yes, 8 is very well used today, I still see 7 ). If your site can't be used with versions, etc. you might want to sniff and tell them via a page. Finally found a rather convenient way of testing the site with IE7 (via Modern IE VMs) https://modern.ie/en-us/virtualization-tools#downloads Looks fine and fast there with IE7. I tried just basic eclipse, installed WUDSN via link, created project but in outline are only ORGs and INS + ICL files I think.
