lucien2
This new game HAD to be ported to the TI. Very simple rules, but very addictive. Here it is, GPL source code included: 2048.zip Edit: Last update here Edited April 23, 2014 by lucien2

InfernalKeith
Feeling kinda dumb here, but how do I get this to run in Classic99?
+Lee Stewart
Feeling kinda dumb here, but how do I get this to run in Classic99? Put the file, 2048.G.Bin in the MODS directory under classic99, add the following to the end of the classic99.ini file (you may need to change Usercart1 to some other number) [UserCart1] name="2048" rom0=G|6000|4000|mods\2048.G.Bin Open up classic99 and choose Cartridge-->User-->2048. ...lee
sometimes99er
Or extract the "2048.G.Bin" to anywhere like maybe the Classic99/DSK1 folder. Then in Classic99 choose "Cartridge" menu, then "User", and "Open...". Find "2048.G.Bin" and off you go.
InfernalKeith
Got it! Many thanks. This game is going to be the bane of my existence for a while! Edited April 21, 2014 by InfernalKeith
lucien2
Just a small update: 1. The 4th and 5th digits of the score were not erased after a restart 2. Sound added when the game is won 2048-2.zip
+mizapf
Here's the RPK for MESS users. Rename ".zip" to ".rpk" (the forum server does not like rpk files). 2048.zip

+mizapf
Follow the link that Lucien posted above. It explains what you can do. Essentially, using the arrow keys (or short ESDX), you move all tiles to one direction (as if you tilted the board). When two tiles with equal value touch each other, both are united to a "sum tile". Try to push that value up to 2048.
