+xucaen
I'm looking through source code and I see EQU and .extern, I know what they mean, but I can't find them in the M68000 Programmers Reference manual. Are these specific to mac/smac?
GroovyBee
They are called "assembler directives" and their syntax is assembler specific. The 68000 programmers manual just contains the CPU instruction set. I think there is a manual for the dev kit's assembler in the *.zip files that are "out there".
+xucaen
For future reference, I found a web site that had a list of assembler directives for 68000 ASM and I threw them into a document for easy reference. I couldn't find anything specific for smac or mac, but I thought these might be close enough to help anyone else attempting to decipher Jaguar assembly code in the future. m68000_Assembler_directives.pdf

I certainly did not find a list of assembler directives there. However, I will say I love poking around old development files and finding jpegs of naked women. Thanks!
