2 TVs. 1 Atari.

So I have an atari 5200 that I now have connected to a CRT tv that I just got (sony trinitron). I enjoy playing on that. Once in a while, my fiance will want to play a game with me but she likes to play on a bigger TV. I have an HDTV sitting about 6 feet from the CRT.

My question is, that I could use a coax splitter to connect both at the same time, right?

My second and most important question, is this safe? I dont want to fry anything.

You need a coax A / B switch box. You don't need it going to two TV's at once, just one at a time.

So the switch box is what you need.

I really don't think a 2 way splitter is going to degrade the picture quality, assuming everything is hooked up properly and your using quality equipment. We're talking -3.5 db on both TVs... not a big loss at all.
