RJ
My original 800XL broke after a few yrs BITD (mid '80s) so I bought my friend's entire 8-bit collection for $60, which was another 800XL, games, 1010 recorder, & 1020 plotter. I sold off many things but my remaining carts/disks are original, several diskettes w/ '80s type-in games all still work, as does an '80s Christmas 1050 disk drive. It's been a goddamn workhorse for 30 yrs now & I love it. I acquired another semi-reliable 1050 from an Atari club auction in the late '90s. Oh & I got a XMM801 printer from Video61 sometime in the later '90s, & an XG-1 light gun some yrs after that. All still work great.
