G'day Ray. XF551 is very rare here, I've seen maybe 2-3 ever on eBay.

 

SIO2SD is worth considering, I've got an older bare one - this is the later bare model with better layout, nice price too:

Given some of the issues with XF551 and the fact it'd be expensive to ship even locally, probably worth getting the SIO2SD. It'll work with practically all the software out there.

I have also now a Side2, and am trying to learn your new computer language as it applies to the Atari 8 Bit.

 

I have had FUN ? trying to set up the CF Card for the 2 partitions, got there in the end.

Flashjazzcat has offered some good assistance .
