CPUWIZ
I think that was more of a flattering remark from her.

FireTiger
Could you elborate? Is there something that's glitched or needs to be fixed in the game? No, not that. My mind is blown with this program. It was a complement I think that was more of a flattering remark from her. Exactly! Ah, okay. Not a problem then. Good. +frankodragon
I was able to burn an eprom and solder it to a PCB board to play it on a real 7800 but it has sound issues. The title music works but the "walking" sound isn't there. It does work in MESS though.
CPUWIZ
Hopefully you used the sockets I sent you, so you can just iterate on the software.
+frankodragon
Just an update: I got one of those cheap eprom erasers but still I'm having sound issues on a real 7800. Tried remarking out the sound in the title screen- still no sound. Tried adding pokey sound code to each bank: no sound. I may have to make a new test board as the other one is getting flakey. In MESS, it works flawlessly, but not on a real 7800.
+frankodragon
Turns out the reason why no sound is no pokey chip. I've changed psound into tsound.

DracIsBack
Frank - is July 27-2015 the latest build, or is there a newer one on a blog or elsewhere?
+frankodragon
Frank - is July 27-2015 the latest build, or is there a newer one on a blog or elsewhere? There is a newer build. This corrects the sound issue in which I should of used TIA sound instead of POKEY. This will be released in the actual cart. I PM'd Al about it although he may be busy. +frankodragon
Here's a brief video gameplay with the "fixed" TIA sound instead of using POKEY sound. The game is complete and does now work on a real cartridge:
+frankodragon
An update: Here's the finished game along with instruction manual. I'll be selling copies of these soon. I still have to get additional parts since I've had some screw ups with soldering.
+frankodragon
I'm going to be selling copies at $60 each plus extra for shipping since it's a massive 512K game. I have a very limited amount at this time until I can get more parts.

Jinks
So I played this today. I get the red key from the dungeon the cross the red bridge then find another dungeon then it glitches and locks up the screen right after I take the stairs. Tried twice and crashes within 2 minutes of gameplay at the same spot.

Then I'll send you a replacement cartridge.

+frankodragon
I did test another copy and it didn't glitch after getting the red key and going into the second dungeon. If the problem persists, let me know.
