@godzillajoe @Nathan Strum @timdu  @Gregory DG  Are any of you guys still around?  I might have a few Q's about some of these home arcade versions.

I'm still active, but stopped publishing the printed 2600 Connection newsletter many years ago. I am still very interested in the hobby and I frequent the forums here very often.

If anyone is interested, from the Atari Compendium page, I added a few more games to my home arcade list.

I added Championship Soccer (AKA Pele's Soccer) which I think is the home version of Atari Soccer.

I split up Combat into three separate arcade games, Tank, BiPlane and Jet Fighter.

I added Bowling as being the home version of shall we say "the bowling group" consisting of "Meadows Lanes (Meadows Games 1977); Robot Bowl (Exidy 1977); 3-D Bowling (Meadows Games 1978); Top Bowler (Taito 1978); 4 Player Bowling Alley (Midway 1979)."

I added The End homebrew of the arcade game called The End.

I added Boxing as being the home version of Boxer.

I added both Frog Pond and Frogs and Flies as being home versions of Frogs.

And I added Outlaw and Gunfight for shall we say "the Gun Fight group" consisting of "Western Gun (Taito 1975); Gun Fight (Midway 1975); Outlaw! (Atari 1976); Boot Hill (Midway 1977), Gun Man (Taito 1977); Mr. Gun Man (Universal 1980)"

What do you guys think of my choices?

Does anyone know where I can download the ROM for Cosmic Avenger (2016 homebrew)?

Nice update - thanks for doing that!

Cosmic Avenger never made it past the early proof-of-concept stage, as the project turned into the Champ Games ports of Scramble and Super Cobra. I don't think a ROM was ever publicly released - there was little more than a scrolling background.

My pleasure @Nathan Strum.  I really appreciate the list you shared at 2600 Connection.

Thanks for letting me know.  Well, we, the Atari community, already have Champ Games demo roms of Scramble and Super Cobra, so I guess that's finished.  We can cross that item off our to do list.  Yes?

@Thomas Jentzsch  @Nathan Strum  Hey, I see you guys were developers on the team that made Star Castle Arcade.  How 'bout that!

@Nathan Strum  Haha, I found your review of the two versions in 2018.

Star Castle 2600 (D. Scott Williamson)  -  D. Scott Williamson posts on AA in 2011 about his game.

image.thumb.png.fa1d6ba41bb4cae155bfd5de6c11b6fe.png

Star Castle Arcade (Team Antonym, aka: Chris Walton, Thomas Jentzsch, Ivan Machado, Richard Armijo, Nathan Strum)

And @Thomas Jentzsch posted on AA in 2013 regarding a beta release of Star Castle Arcade.

And here is the mention of both games in the Atari Compendium.

@Thomas Jentzsch I think I see what you mean.  In the Atari Compendium, it looks like the dates are switched.

SC2600 (the one on the bottom) should be dated 2011 and your SCA (the one on the top) should be dated 2013.

Correct?

@Nathan Strum  Haha, I was still typing when you posted that.

@Thomas Jentzsch @Nathan Strum  Guys, is the person who maintains (or maintained) the Atari Compendium, Scott Stilphen, here at AA?  Can we contact him to make this small correction?

Does anybody see anything that you think should be changed on it?

Just grazing it, you forgot the official Elevator Action prototype. http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/elevator/elevator.htm

Also Pac-Man 4/8k, and I recall there being a proper port of the NES Punch-Out! to the 2600 in monochrome. https://mathangames.itch.io/punch-out-2600

These are just ones I'm aware of though, I'm far from an exhaustive source.

Also, I know it basically is, but should Radar Lock really be listed as a port of After-Burner? Because then at that point Robot-Tank needs to be listed as a port of Battlezone among a ton of other clones.
