Atari_Bill
Looks like the city (I assume) has has finally shoved these games out for sale. Should be interesting to watch... http://www.ebay.com/sch/tbhs575/m.html?item=291285722624&hash=item43d1fb6600&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

bojay1997
Not surprisingly, the ETs are the only ones garnering any bids. While I could understand a museum obtaining a copy for historical purposes, I can't see buying one of these for my collection.
high voltage
I'd buy one for my collection, it's a great history piece.
bojay1997
I'd buy one for my collection, it's a great history piece. Yeah, I've never really understood the fascination with Atari dumping things in a landfill. I for one never had any doubts it happened and it just seems like a bunch of fuss being made over something manufacturers do all the time or did before many landfills instituted environmental restrictions. atarilovesyou
I was hoping to pick up an ET, seriously. But wow, look at the bids! I was hoping with the many they pulled out of the ground, $50 would be more than enough for a piece of gaming history and folklore. I wouldn't pay a cent for those other titles, though. These wouldn't be that hard to fake, though. The seller has zero feedback. I'd require a bit more substantiation, that's for sure. san-d-2000
I believe after these auctions they will have another 800 cartridges for sale.
Shawn
Most of the boxed ones are already $300 to $500 each with 8 days left to go. I really want one of these ET carts but not for $500. I was looking to spend $100 tops but it looks like this is gonna be a rich man toy that average smucks will not be able to have
+stupus
These would be a fun 1 to send to VGA for grading Edited November 5, 2014 by stupus
+wood_jl
I felt slightly-guilty (budget-wise) for spending so much on stuff like extra consoles, flashcarts (Everdrives, Harmony, etc). After seeing what some fool is willing to spend on a beat-to-shit E.T. cartridge, I feel better about my choices. Thusly, I have fewer regrets. BID THOSE THINGS UP, FOLKS!! HA HA!!
Shawn
These would be a fun 1 to send to VGA for grading Would be cool to see a grading under a 10. 10 out of 100 is the worst I've ever seen but I think there is a chance these could reach new lows.
