+Gemintronic
I like the game but I'm having a hard time figuring out what stuff to run over and what stuff to avoid. The loose garbage and fuel cans are good. Loose garbage awards points and fuel cans give you an extra life (up to 4 max) If you stay at the title screen eventually an attract mode appears and demos how to play the game. Maybe that could be paddle based. Is this still on the table? I would definitely buy a boxed copy for my son and I to play together. I assume you were going to base it on the Imagic Intellivision game. If you had Collectorvision publish again, they could get boxes made that mimic the original amazing Imagic silver-metallic boxes. I bought their Intellivision Moonsweeper, and it's an item to behold. This would be by far my most desired homebrew title if it were available right now. I started collecting for/restarted playing VCS a year after STT was published, and just found out about it now. I'll at least definitely try out the demos. I assume the final ROM wasn't released.

The once idyllic streets of Video City are overflowing with Trash, The Mayor can no longer afford the extortion rackets and the streets are filled. Its up to you... Johnny Badbody, one time boss of Badbody Cleaning and your 2000hp Super Trash Truck to clean up these filthy streets. I am very pleased to showcase to you my first game Super Trash truck, The game was designed by me but brought to life by the talents of forum member 'The Loon' who recreated my vision perfectly with pretty much no compromise and was a pleasure to work with. Super Trash Truck is an arcade style game and when i designed it i envisioned something that reflected the 81' era of classic games, easy to play hard to master. The game play mechanic is simple drive through the streets and collect the piles of Trash, Avoid all obstacles and collect Fuel cans for extra lives. Each level is a 'Day' in video city and as such it cycles from day to night continually. Upon beginning a new day the game will then speed up making all the hazards harder to avoid. Many of you will know that i design and build custom arcade machines and this is my intention for Super Trash Truck, I am going to create a custom cabinet specifically for this game. The truck can be moved in all directions and pressing up gives a burst of speed which can be vital for dodging hazards of which there are plenty including Toxic Waste Drums, Trash Cans, Dumpsters, Cars and more. The game is very close to being finished and i will post a file for you all to try out soon, The game will have a full boxed release with the cartridge and box artwork being created by the amazing talents of video game artist Dan Tearle, I have mocked the design but Dan is going to do his own special take on that. he will also be creating some artwork for the arcade cabinet. Once the game is finished if you wish to purchase just a cartridge then you can do so by contacting 'The Loon' on here. Details about the boxed release i will bring you once that is further along and yes it will be proper Atari style cardboard boxes with manual. The game caters for both PAL60 and NTSC and that can be toggled via the difficulty switches so one cart does all. Please ask any questions and i hope you enjoy the game once its posted. Nice looking cabinet. Do you have a crt mounted in it?
