vahe Posted December 7, 2014 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Hi, I have a few problems with recently purchased naughty XC12, would appreciate any advice (apart from binning it!): a) When I put the tape in, XC12 does not close. I really need to push the tape in with a pen while closing so that it closes. I am comparing it with a fully working XC12, can't see anything broken or missing inside. Very strange. b) XC12 does not wait for "space" to be pressed in order to start playing the tape! c) FFWD is very slow, REWIND gets stuck unless the cover is pressed firmly, PLAY seems to work but nothing gets loaded (no loading sounds at all) Any ideas? _The Doctor__ Posted December 7, 2014 Share Posted December 7, 2014 I used a weight on the left hand front side of the cassette door with gentle heat and time to straighten the door on my XC-12(solved all my problems).... Now when I store it I leave an empty cassette (no tape inside) in the XC-12 with padding on top the left side door. Works evertime I take it out now.....
