PeBo
Finally got my PEB hooked up, only to find that my original ToD data disk is toast (horrors! And after only 30 years - unbelievable!!). I can easily play it with the CF copy I have on the nanoPEB, but as always, the nanoPEB for all it's convenience, frustrates by not allowing simultaneous connection of other media devices, so I have no way to get the data files from there, copied onto a floppy for use with the PEB. RS232/null modem cable for file transfer and an HxC DSK1 replacement are future-planned upgrades, but in the interim I'm wondering if someone could be so kind as to burn a data disk (SSSD) of at least Pennies and Quest (Star Trek and or others if'n ya got 'em). Will happily cover the cost of the disk, your time and shipping. And yes, I am a bit daft for insisting that I have the data on floppy when I do have other ways to play the game (including throttled to a breakneck speed on Classic 99) but there's something about the grunts and groans of floppy access that makes the game feel somehow more... ...authentic
sparkdrummer
Hello there, I can do that for you. I figure I can make up a "flippy" disk for you loaded with TOD stuff. You might have to give me a couple days to get it done tho... continuing, Ralph...
