Giltygear
First this: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/237096-please-delete/?p=3216583 Then THIS one: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/237138-sacred-line-genesis-limited-edition-sealed-signed-best-offer/ (6 posts and ALREADY in the marketplace) Is anyone else seeing this? New members with an eye for the marketplace. There should be a post count that you have to reach before you get access to that part or the boards. Right now, there's no way to watch this. I just don't want someone joining, fleecing someone for money then disappearing. If that means calling someone out publicly and poisoning their for sale threads, then so be it. I'd rather get into a flame war with a scammer than see someone lose money or items on a sour deal.
Albert
I just made a change so you need to have a minimum of 10 posts before you can post in the Marketplace forums. That will stop people from signing up just to post something for sale. Just had a user sign up and post three separate topics selling the same thing, including once outside the Marketplace forums (which I promptly deleted). ..Al
+thegoldenband
Al, is there any chance the change affected our ability to edit our own posts in the Marketplace? I just noticed I can't edit my (inactive) sale thread, nor my wantlist thread (which is totally moribund, but I use it to track my needs). But I could edit the wantlist, at least, as of yesterday. Otherwise, great idea, BTW.
Giltygear
Awesome! Who is the marketplace mod? Just so if this comes up again, there's someone to notify, and I don't have to keep making these bitch threads .
