TPR
Here's some screen shots and video from "Track & Field 2." The cartridge is pictured in the post above. The game was originally published on the MSX and contains the following four events: 110 Meter Hurdles Javelin Throw High Jump 1500 Meter Race While it doesn't have some of the more interesting events as the "Hyper Olympics" arcade sequel to Track & Field, I still think this is a GREAT game and looks amazing on the CV (especially with an F18a installed!) Have a look at the video: I hope this game gets produced in larger quantities for more people to enjoy!
+lawdawg710
Thank you for the video and honestly, that looks like a pretty bad ass game!!
slab0meat
I don't even remember offhand.. what events are in the original Track & Field homebrew? Any overlap?
TPR
I don't even remember offhand.. what events are in the original Track & Field homebrew? Any overlap? The original one was the 100 meter dash, the long jump, the hammer throw, and 400 meter dash.
NIAD
Whoever at Konami decided to include the 1500 Meter Race was a real sadist!!! You definetely need the Track & Field Controller for that event as it would be a Hand Controller killer.
TPR
I posted this video in another thread, but I just ran across it again and I think it's a great way to show off the Super Game Module! IMO Galaga is a great game on just about any platform. Nothing beats the arcade version, of course, but the ColecoVision SGM version is certainly one of the better home versions I've played! (and I think I've played almost all of them!) If you're looking for a copy of the game, contact CollectorVision by PMing coleco_master and I'm sure they can set you up!

TPR
Yes, this is me playing through Lady Bug on the ColecoVision and talking a load of nonsense while playing. Let me know if you like this sort of video format or I should go back to playing games without any commentary! (I won't be offended! Well, maybe just a little bit...) but seriously, feedback is appreciated!
TPR
And if anyone feels like joining yet another Facebook page, I added FB to my list of ColecoVision socials above: https://www.facebook.com/colecovisionfan/
TPR
Some recent additions to the "CIB published by Coleco" collection... In fact I think this completes my "Published by Coleco" CIB collection other than having a real Donkey Kong (I have the repros) - Anyone have an extra they'd be willing to sell?

TPR
So I think this might be the complete collection of Opcode Prototype games. I checked NIAD's list for some and I couldn't find any reference to any others. Am I missing any?
SiLic0ne t0aD
Not sure but that is awesome that you acquired all of those.
chart45
you dont have the pre-prod purple box colecovision yet... 4d + shipping of waiting ?
SiLic0ne t0aD
Ah yes, The ultimate ColecoVision 'Holy Grail' IMO.. the purple proto box CV. I hope you or another AA get it.
TPR
you dont have the pre-prod purple box colecovision yet... 4d + shipping of waiting Not interested. Remember, I'm not a "completist" when it comes to my collection in terms of having everything. I like to have collections of more specific things (All of the Coleco branded games, all of the Pixelboy boxes, etc...) I saw that prototype box and the price is well outside of my interest level, especially considering that the hardware inside isn't any different than the production model other than the serial number. If it had the spinner controllers or something significantly different with the hardware, I *might* be more interested. I'm more of a "games" guy, anyway...

If it had the spinner controllers or something significantly different with the hardware, I *might* be more interested. I hear you re. price and interest level, however I'm pretty sure that the PCB inside the ColecoVision will be a Rev. A board and there are only two of those confirmed to exist. If the Hand Controllers with Speed Roller were included, it would be a no brainer to make a run at it.
