S.BAZ
ah, ok. kinda like kung fu master. maybe it's just the controller that was awkward for me. next time I'll try to play with the CX-40 if that works
Shawn
Desert Falcon = HOF as far as the 7800 goes Ballblazer=meh, never really liked this one on any system to be honest.

DracIsBack
As for POKEY audio in Desert Falcon, it wasn't done properly in the lazy XEGS port. I originally came into the thread to see if my ratings stayed true. They did. On the topic of lazy ports, in my naive younger days, I thought that Atari "deliberately crippled" 7800 games in order to push the XEGS to clear out the warehouse of stuff. After years in tech, seeing how software gets put together, I'm much more inclined to believe the Tramiels were simply cheap. With the XEGS, they were often able to grab source code done by original developers. When they had to do their own ports, they cut corners to get it done cheaply. While the 7800 usually was the victim in this, games like Desert Falcon on the XE definitely showed that the reverse could be true as well.
