MarkO
http://www.jameco.com/Jameco/workshop/rollcall/first-digital-computer.html I knew about that back in the 1980's... When I bought Bit by Bit: An Illustrated History of Computers. Neither the ABC or the ENIAC were a Computer in the Sense of Today's Computers, The ABC was Binary, but a Fixed Program, the ENIAC was Programmable, but Decimal. ( Some might say the ABC was an Embedded System ) As usual, history proves that usually One Person or Team doesn't come up with ALL the Best Ideas, but what we have today is the Best of the Best Ideas..
