Intellivision Flashback sales....

As a member of "everyone else," we did not hire you as our spokesperson. You are *not* sanctioned to speak for "everyone else." Please refrain from representing "everone else" in the future.

Thank you,

Ironic - glad that you're sanctioned to speak for "everyone else"...

I think that the Intellivision units could use an emulator upgrade to improve sound and game compatibility. I know I'd pay more for a unit that had NECESSARY overlays..... Having a booklet with the instructions for all the games would be desirable.

I think people would pay more $$ for an HDMI unit as well.

Agreed.

I was surprised by the emulation flaws in both the INTV and CV Flashbacks. Yes, it's a low cost product, however they didn't have to make the emulators compatible with hundreds of Android devices, only their specific hardware.

In the US we're 6 years into the switch to digital TV. A $25 Raspberry PI and countless other sub-$40 devices with TV output have it. HDMI is no longer cost prohibitive for manufacturers to use it in their devices.

Yay! :D

"If everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you do it as well?"

There are 7+ billion people on the planet. Every one of those 6,999,999,999+ people is "everyone else." Of course I don't speak for them, nor would I want to ;)

1. Prices have not come down to sub-$40 in the southern NJ area (Philadelphia suburbs) for the Inty Flashback anywhere I have seen.

2. If I had to bet $, there will not be an Inty Flashback 2, for reasons mentioned in other threads.

I'm happy that there was a #1, it was/is a good experience for 2014, time to move on.

Bill L. mentioned that both the Colecovision and Intellivision were outsold 4 to 1 by the Atari and Genesis units.

After all, the Genesis (aka Mega Drive) Flashback is the only one that has made it's way to Europe.
