Keith99er
Would anyone have / be able to scan an example of a cassette software cover/inlay from Kidware? They were making educational stuff for TI99 around 1982/3...

KidwareSoftware
KIDware is still around today. Many of your favorite Kidware TI-99 Learning Games actually made it all the way into the Microsoft Windows era. Even the Lemonade Stand program. :-) You can see that some of them that upgraded all the way to Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, Microsoft Windows 10 killed some of the HTML HELP features so we recently discontinued the entire line. If someone was really nostalgic about some of the old learning games and you wanted to play some of our old classics on a Windows 95 to Windows 8.1 system please contact me. Us old timers at Kidware are still a little nostalgic ourselves... http://www.kidwaresoftware.com/childrens.htm I actually tried to contact the EBay buyer of the Large TI-99 Plastic multi-case cassette holder pictured above. Unfortunately, the seller would not put us in contact with the final buyer. If anyone out there knows who bought it please let them know as we would love to talk to them or anyone else who still has our complete original TI-99 tape collection. We have a special Kidware Museum 1980s display project where we would love to display the complete set. We are doing a similar display project for our Atari, TRS-80, Commodore, and Apple II series of Learning Games. Believe it or not, we didn't ever think about keeping a complete set in long-term storage after we transitioned all our titles to PC/MS DOS. We never expected anyone to collect them either. :-) Remembering back to the good old TI-99 days when KIDware and BibleBytes were just starting out.... +Ksarul
Thanks for the input. Several of us here have some of the Kidware titles for the TI. I personally have about a dozen different titles in my collection (not for sale). I was one of the underbidders on the mostly complete set from the picture above, so I didn't win that particular auction, unfortunately. It is very nice to know that you are still around! +Schmitzi
Hi, somebody has a list of the KIDware-products ? Would be great to get that, maybe with the years of publishing or so, whatever you have is cool At least, a photo with the titles would be a good first step to enter them. thanks PS: It´s for the TI-99 TOXIC-LISTS
