RSS Bot
I find it interesting that the Dreamcast has 2 casino games for it. I think I reviewed Caesar's Palace sometime, and if not, I have it. Hoyle Casino, however, is the other one. I played Video Poker for about 10 minutes. I won most of the hands I got dealt. But then, I started losing money. I started with $5,000 and ended up with $5,040. The game though needs the VMU to be in slot #1 for it to save data. I've ran into that a few times and I don't know why it would matter. And creating a player is just dumb. You have all these pre-made caricatures but you can't make your own. Perhaps I wanted to be an alien from the planet Zybort. Nope. I have to be Mr. Shadow. All the other ones were stupid so I decided on the default one. So let's just say this is the weaker of the two, but it keeps track of your earnings and losses. I turned it off and back on again (I'm still upset about the lack of a reset button) and I was still there with $5,040. The next game I will do in Dreamcast Game Thoughts will be the Bust-A-Move game, which I will be getting in the mail, unless I do something before it. http://atariage.com/forums/blog/168/entry-12138-hoyle-casino/
