Mark_G
I got myself a CocoSDC. Really wonderful stuff. I downloaded the disk images from "the king" and "time bandit". I could load them easily with the CocoSDC, and play them on the real hardware, without emulator. However, those games I downloaded are PMODE 4 only. When Tandy distributed those games in Europe, you got also the option for PMODE3. (actually 3 colours - 1xPMODE4 and the two PMODE3 settings). This is also applicable for PENGON and BUZZARD BAIT and if I still remember it correctly, for ZAXXON. They where available as cassette tapes made by Tandy, and distributed in their stores. On European televisions, the PMODE 4 trick doesn't work, and those games looks much much better in PMODE3 Does someone know if those images also exists? Mark_G
Hello, Didn't know the existence of that forum. However I have some questions : 1./ Are Dragon games 1:1 compatible with Coco. => checked this with emaulator. They are not binary compatible. 2./ How can I load cas files to dsk ? This is actually a 2 step sequence: 2a/ I have the original tapes. If I know how to transfer them to a file, I can upload them as cas file. 2b/ Can I load those cas file to a dsk image? So I can transfer them from my pc to the coco and azccess them with cocosdc Kind regards, Mark Edited July 19, 2015 by Mark_G
Charlie_
On a coco3 you can use spectral's RGB patch program. That makes most games run in PMODE 3 and changes the palette to match NTSC artifact colors.
