eway83
Hi, I recently bought a Sega CDX and every fonction worked well. Last night, it suddenly stopped working and started smelling like something was burning. I then unplugged it, let it cool off and tried it later on. It's not powering up at all, even with the batteries. I opened the thing up to see if anything was burnt, but I don't know it that much. (I used the right AC adapter). Anyone ever experienced something like that? Any ideas what might have hapenned? Anyone repairs that kind of stuff? Thanks Edited July 19, 2015 by eway83

Thanks I've never opened one of those, but a typical fail item that would cause something to not come on would be a fuse, or a burning smell could be something like a Voltage Regulator melting. I would love to repair it for you, but you would never get it back
