barnieg
Does anyone know if the Atari 2600B with built in games is real a Atari or is it a knockoff/ clone. Someone local has new old stock and the potential to buy a bulk lot. How could I confirm authenticity? Andromeda Stardust
If it has "XX-in1" built in games, and is not a modern Flashback, then it's a bootleg. Also pics would be helpful. Even bootleg console stuff can be fascinating and/or collectable. Edited August 15, 2015 by stardust4ever
Shawn
I think Atari did allow a couple in some odd markets with built in games but I could be wrong.

Mef
2600B sounds a lot like the name of the bootleg systems. Actually, 3 of the clone systems I've owned said "TV GAME COMPATIBLE 2600B" on the bottom sticker. While real Atari systems with built-in games did exist in some markets (Australia comes to mind), they're so rare, it's far more likely you're speaking of a Chinese knockoff. Pics would definitely help.
