Jim Peterson Awards Announcement

Hello TI99ers,

To avoid conflicts with long holiday seasons, and to make the time frame more efficient, the Jim Peterson Achievement Awards will have a new operating schedule.

The new schedule will be as follows:

  1. Nominations for Jim Peterson Awards will be accepted during January and February.
  2. Editing of Jim Peterson Award nominations will be done during March.
  3. Voting on the Jim Peterson Award ballot will be conducted during April and May.
  4. Announcement of the recipients of the Jim Peterson Achievement awards will be

posted June 1.

I assume the call for nominations and the procedure was announced elsewhere in Jan 16. Post #1 is from Aug 15.

 

The webpage listed is your best update source. He posts also to the yahoo groups. One of the problems with having multiple groups.. But atariage seems to be the center of the TI universe these days, with facebook taking a close second.

Also, in recognition of years of support for the United Kingdom and European TI99 communities since 1981, it is with great pleasure to announce the presentation of the 2016 Jim Peterson Lifetime Achievement Award to the TIUGUK (TI-99/4A User Group United Kingdom).
