Nebulon
Considering it's a 64-bit Smartphone, I'm surprised they didn't call it the Commodore 64... http://www.wired.com/2015/07/commodore-smartphone/ Nice to see that the C64 and Amiga emulators will be included (especially for the less tech-savvy people out there to play around with). Perhaps soon more kids of today will discover the 'addictive' fun that is retro gaming.
carlsson
Don't keep your breath, even the manufacturer themselves admit they found a hurdle. It has been out in the news as well. https://www.commodore-pet.com/opposition-from-choldings-bv/ We will see what the net outcome of this is, my bets are the smartphone will never see the daylight, or they rename it entirely to not infringe existing trademarks. Wow....I also knew about this and I had thought it was already released to the market. Miss my C64 so got off the phone with my mom, who still has the C64 in storage, and well, when she has Easter dinner, Ill be picking it all up....everything but the dot matrix printer, so, floppy drive, keyboard, hookups, and even the cassette tape reader. Had so much fun with those games when I was younger - Spy Vs Spy, Avoid The Noid, Jumpman, Lode Runner, Ghostbusters, Impossible Mission and the best text adventure game I have ever played - UGH....cannot think of the name right now.....FINALLY - I remembered the name - Colossal Cave Adventure
