ralphb
What's the state (ahem) of save states in MESS? Pressing S-F7 will create a save state that can be loaded by pressing F7, but the results are ... interesting. The saved state for an Extended BASIC with PEB session, for example, looks awfully small: tiger ~ > ll .mess/sta/ti99_4ae total 12 -rw-rw---- 1 ralph ralph 8507 Aug 24 18:17 1.sta But in all fairness MESS says right away that saving state is not officially supported for the TI emulation. @Michael: Are there any plans of making this work? Is the dump incomplete to begin with, or does the restore not work properly right now?
+mizapf
Öm ... not at the moment. Let me put it like this: In all past 7 years that I've been working on the TI side of MESS I never cared about the state save feature, and accordingly broke some few parts that I inherited from the previous developer. This means a considerable amount of work. I've put that on my list ... with a medium priority.
