mark
Where do you see the prices of 80s arcades in the future (around 5 years from now). Do you think they'll go up, stay the same, go down? Also why do you think as you do?
Dr Galaga
I think that they will keep going up for awhile. The kids who played these games are now older adults who want to have a piece of their childhood and/or want to show their kids what fun they had as kids. AtariDude
Arcades are a part of Americana that is slowly disappearing. There are very few arcades as opposed to the 80s when it seemed that there was an arcade game every few blocks. The few remaining systems that still work will become rarer and rarer and those who wish to experience the real thing as opposed to just loading up MAME will be willing to pay more. However, I don't think you are going to see a major price increase for at least 10 years.
