PeculiarSatyr
So I've got a PC with an HDMI out to a secondary monitor (Plasma TV) and cannot get any emulators to display full screen on the TV.....Anyone know what the problem may be? Was hoping to get a couple USB controllers to be able to play NES/SNES/Genesis/2600/etc/etc on my 60 inch plasma......
MrMaddog
Emulators are always going to have a 4:3 screen ratio. Your only choices are stretch the screen on the TV or use screen overlays which MAME supports... I recommend video options that make the games look like they're running on a CRT screen to look more authentic.
Osgeld
use VGA, tv should stretch the analog signal I had a similar problem with hdmi scaling down to my tv's native resolution (its a smaller 720P screen) so it looked like ass, use vga now its per pixel perfect, and I can actually read whats on the screen Edited November 8, 2015 by Osgeld
Keatah
Many sets have 4:3 or 16:9 or 16:10 manual settings which work on both analog and digital inputs.
+xucaen
Try pressing ALT-Enter, I got my Atari800WinPlus to go full screen like that.
Keatah
Experiment with windows desktop res. set to TV native resolution, then play with emulator.
