I'll never forget, and I've probably said it here before, but I loved playing joust, solar fox, centipede, crystal castles etc at home, and one christmas we went to our cousins' house, and they had pitfall. It was the first time I saw a character run from one side of the screen and come out the other side.

It was like every new screen was a new game, basically it blew my mind, hard to imagine now, but thats the buzz I got. When I played smurf, I was a little more prepared, but loved it too!
