goldenegg
Here's a fresh of of MAMEUI 0.154 you can try. The ZIP file contains 2 executables: one for 32-bit and the other for 64-bit. The 64-bit version definitely does not make use of the offending DLL. http://goldensdomain.com/mameui154.zip Edited November 28, 2015 by goldenegg
fujidude
I think we need to go back and re-evaluate the integrity of the host system. Bingo. Derek, I would also suggest using the MS included sfc (system file checker) program. Here is a link to Wikipedia explaining it. I suggest using it in the "recovery environment" which they explain under the usage section. Basically what you are doing there is booting the recovery DVD and using a command prompt that it provides. This allows the utility to run without malware that may be infecting your system to execute. In other words, sophisticated malware could potentially "hide" itself from SFC if SFC were run from your regular boot. And, for your technical reading pleasure, should you feel the urge to satisfy some curiosity about DLL issues common in Windows, you can visit here, where you may notice that malware is one (of many) potential causes of .DLL issues.
