RXB
I'd love to go to this if it happens. I live in Marysville, Washington (near Everett, about 30 miles north of Seattle). Potentially whoever is organizing this could try to tie it to one of the Seattle Retro-Computing monthly meetings that are held in Redmond (see http://www.seattleretrocomputing.com/meetings/) or potentially hold it at the Seattle Living Computer Museum (see http://www.livingcomputermuseum.org/) if they allow that kind of thing. The Living Computer Museum is really cool if you've never been (all kinds of home PC's available and ready to use, Apple, Amiga, C64, TI-99/4A, etc.) Though if you are trying to do something centrally located between Seattle and Portland, maybe having it at a hotel in Olympia, Washington could work. That is about a 4 hour drive, that would be 8 hours on the road for me.
