Stelladaptor and Atari800MAC on 10.8.5 fails

Hi All,

 

In the past I have succesfully played with Atari800Mac and the Stelladaptor.

 

Today I wanted to give it another try, and it does not work.

 

The stelladaptor is detected in the emulator as "Gamepad" and I can test it. It indeed recognizes the joystickbutton when I do the "test" in preferences.

 

but... in the controller window I can not set Joystick 1 to Gamepad 1 since that is and stays greyed out, not matter what setting I try.

 

So inside the emulator, when the 'atari' is running, the joystick isn't seen, which makes sense, since I was not able to mount the joystick to gamepad 1.

 

Since I have been using this in the past on Tiger (OS X 10.4.11) I'm pretty sure it is something with Mountain Lion 10.8.5

 

Anyone have a solution for this?

Ah... I did repair permissions, and now I can select Gamepad1 in the joysticks settings window.

 

Now it works.
