Rootvonroot
Hello O2 fans. I bought my O2 version 1 (with detachable joysticks and a strange video connection that uses the "white box") with a bunch of boxed games for cheap and assumed the console didn't work (due to the price) and was right, sort-of. System powers up but the screen looks like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiRX3ydaBvc Without knowing exactly what the problem was I tried the following in the following order: 1) tried another game 2) tried channel 4 3) cleaned the board pins as best I could 4) replaced the video cable and "white box" with a RF cable 5) attempted the composite conversion found here: after the composite attempt, while running composite when I power the system the screen flashes but is then black. When I reconnect the RF system and power on via RF video out I can still get the same screen as shown above in my youtube video (which to me means my composite attempt at least hasn't caused any additional damage) While reading through the forums here I haven't seem a lot of answers for similar O2 issues but thought I would throw it out there anyways just in case... any ideas? +atari2600land
Hi, have you tried asking at the O2/Videpac forum? I know registering is a little odd, but I think they may be helpful. http://videopac.nl/forum/index.php Edited March 10, 2016 by atari2600land
