+arcadeshopper
The hosting provider for arcadeshopper.com, thekeep.net and whtech.com is offline. They had a catastrophic drive controller failure due to a power issue. They say we will be back within 24 hours. In the meantime if you need to place an order at arcadeshopper you can use the facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/arcadeshopperdotcom I'll post updates as I hear from Don. ckoba
... and it's down again. I've got a partial mirror up at https://www.disavowed.jp/mirrors/whtech.com that is complete up through "magazines". I'll finish off the mirror, and update it daily, when whtech.com pops back up on the network. Edited March 31, 2016 by ckoba
+mizapf
Those tempo ra rally's will get ya every time, too. One of the few things easier in German than in English: We don't have the -ly (which is the reason we sometimes forget to add it in English). ckoba
*chuckle* If I had a nickel for each time I've heard a database or systems administrator say "it's a network problem", and have it actually be a screwup on a system they're responsible for, I'd be a fairly well-off man. Even if I had to give a nickel back for each time that it actually was a network engineer fat-fingering a config during hush-hush "maintenance". I guess the NOC at Multacom (the owner of the netblock whtech.com is on) doesn't run 24/7. Anyway, whtech.com has been mirrored at https://www.disavowed.jp/mirrors/whtech.com... it is complete, with the exception of the /videos directory, which I will not mirror due to space concerns and lack of interest. Since I'm a network engineer.. you aren't the only one.. Its that whtech/lizardhill has no snmp/monitoring I really should set up my own Greg
ckoba
Since I'm a network engineer.. you aren't the only one.. Its that whtech/lizardhill has no snmp/monitoring I really should set up my own Greg I hear you. I'm not a network engineer by training, but "network guy" has been part of my duties from time to time, and I've had my share of "what happened when you tried to telnet to the port" and "that server moved networks a week ago, why are you using an IP to connect" moments. Especially from DBAs who aren't entirely sure what a server room looks like, let alone a server. Nagios FTW

What did it wind up taking space-wise? I might mirror it as well.
ckoba
Excluding /videos, about 23 gigs: $ du -sk .22945614 . fdupes reports that there's at least 200 megs of duplicates (by md5 hash); not enough to make a noticeable size difference if de-duplicated.
