ceratophyllum
I'm using MESS 0.160 on amd64 linux. So I started Drivewire 4, threw a couple of DSK image files at it and then ran MESS from the command line and it says: mess coco2 Connecting to Drivewire server on 127.0.0.1:65504... Connected! I then selected hdbcc2.wav from here in the File Manager GUI and attached it as a cassette and then did CLOADM:EXEC HDB-DOS appeared to load without any problems. But all I get is: DIR ?IO ERROR Edited April 3, 2016 by ceratophyllum
ceratophyllum
Figured out the problem: HDB-DOS version hell. version 1.1D and some 1.4 rom I found in a windows port of xroar did nothing at all or gave errors when I attempted to use them with Drivewire 4. Only hdbdw3bck.rom from Toolshed would work. The ones from Cloud9 did not work. md5sum of the above rom: ef750d93d24d7bc87a8ecd6e5a15a845 To get Drivewire 4 working in MESS, make sure the Becker port is enabled. (It was by default on my MESS, but check the GUI settings.)
