mr_intv
Hey Guys. Those of you outside of Canada may not be aware but the Northern Alberta city of Fort McMurray has been devastated by fire. Upwards of 90,000 people have been forced to evacuate. Complete neighbourhoods are destroyed. And, the damn fire is growing in size and spreading. The fire is larger in area than Tokyo. What I'm getting at is I'm pretty sure there were some Intellivision collectors fro Ft McMurray area who are AA members. Over time if we are able to find these members I want to send some intellivision goodies to them. I have also donated financially to help these people out, but it might be cool to help replace their collection Just some food for thought....

freewheel
I know we have some of the Inty crowd north of Edmonton, but I can't remember if they were as far as Ft. Mac. Tarzilla might know. I hope that if we do have any in the crowd, that they won't hesitate to speak up. We definitely need to help rebuild a collection for anyone involved with that mess. Red Cross/insurance is great at buying clothes and rebuilding your house. Not so much at replacing boxed Spikers!

I know a few people from there but none that are collectors and so far all those I do know have been lucky that their houses survived. It has been surreal around here with the influx of evacuees, I haven't had to buy diapers in 15 years so it was weird standing in the store deciding which ones to buy to donate :-) Unfortunately I don't have Spiker to donate :-(

Over here in Germany it's the top news at the evening tv news show since a week. I hope the weather helps to turn down the fires.
