Using a ps4 controller with Stella

I used a PS3 controller also but for win7 however you need to download a driver such as motionjoy for the PC to recognize the controller. Was an ok set up but now i use two Logitech F310 gamepads for all my emulators, They are only $30 here in Australia andbasically the same as a playstation controller but designed for PC so no need to load drivers and so on. Most the drivers for playstation controllers seemed poorly written and full of adware IMO, also i feel the input lag seems shorter then the playstation controller but that could be all in my head. Goodluck and here is a pic of the controller i use

I know this is an old thread but I was wanting to try to use my PS4 controller with Stella so I could play Stargate. Does Stella work with a wireless controller when emulating 2600 games? It would be cool to be able to experience the game smart bombs etc with one controller. When I play 2600 games on Stella with a CX-40 joystick I play with the 2600-Dapter II and physically plug in to the USB port on my laptop. Once I get Windows to pair with the PS4 gamepad through Blu-tooth what's the next step?
