ti99iuc
Yes, today is a sad day here in Italy because the Earthquake in the central cities of the nation. i am living far 200Km about from the earthqauke epicenter, i just had some bed vibration in the night and i waked up at 3.36am o'clock. but there is also a sad news for the 99ers community anyway. a friend, Ezio Tulli, he was on vacation right in the city hit by the earthquake. another 99er died we had some funny time with the TI-99 about 15 days ago... he purchased the Peripherial Box from USA and assembled his own FR99 We had made plans, we want to work together on some ideas for the Italian community. but life has already written his plans to follow for all of us ... ... remained under the rubble of the earthquake along with his two sons ... only the wife has been spared from this fate... i am really shocked by this loss. R.I.P. my dear friend. Edited August 24, 2016 by ti99iuc
Omega-TI
That sucks, pure and simple. Poor guy, didn't even have time to enjoy his TI stuff. Damn, I can only imagine the shock his wife is experiencing and the heartache to come.

PeBo
I've been reading stories from Italy all day, but your post has brought it even closer to home. It may sound "rehearsed" since everyone says this in these cases, but in absolute sincerity, I send my thoughts and prayers out to the residents of Umbria Lazio and Marche - and all the surrounding areas. May God grant everyone affected the courage and strength to overcome their devastating losses and the challenges ahead . I was already so sad hearing about the aweful losses of those affected by the quakes but this makes it even more real. Thank you for posting so we can pause to think about one of our own. 00WReX
Terrible situation for all those affected. It almost felt wrong clicking on 'like' with the pictures of Ezio at his TI and working on the FlashROM...but Seeing him enjoying these simple pleasures like we all do brings this closer to home. You just never know when your time may end.Sad days. Condolences, Shane.
