bchamb88
Let me fire up a PC Desktop tomorrow and see if the PDF is on it. I'm sure I have a hard copy somewhere I can rescan.
Omega-TI
There was a V2 manual? I didn't know that. The latest one I knew about was this one... nanoPEB-SIO_V1-rev1.0-04.Aug.2010-UserMan.pdf
Sinphaltimus
Does anyone have a copy of the NanoPEB Version 2 manual? Are you sure it exists? To spite the fact the webpage for nanopeb no longer available, the files directories still work and I don't see it in there. http://webpages.charter.net/nanopeb/downloads/nanoPEB/docs/ Edited August 26, 2016 by Sinphaltimus
Shift838
i almost swore there was one. Now all of you have me thinking that the only modification that was really done from the manual was actually maybe just on the main site to show the differences for the RS232 open command: nanoPEB (Version 1) nanoPEB Version 1 uses the TMS9902 UART for traditional performance. It provides an RS-232 port named "RS232". Features: CPU RAM - 32K - Fully compatible with Extended BASIC and Editor/Assembler Emulates of three floppy drives - DSK1, DSK2 and DSK3 Comes with a Compact Flash - Compact Flash is preloaded with CFMGR. Virtual 400kb diskettes (called "volumes") Original 99/4a diskette was only 90kb! Serial Port "RS232" - uses standard DB-9 cables (needs null modem cable to connect to PC). Baud rate up to 9600. Built-in BASIC commands lets you format and mount volumes into the emulated disk drives. Sample OPEN command in BASIC: - OPEN #1:"RS232.BA=9600.DA=8.PA=N.EC" nanoPEB (Version 2) nanoPEB Version 2 uses the 16C550 UART for higher performance. It provides an RS-232 port named "COM1" which replaces the PIO port found in CF7+. Features: CPU RAM - 32K - Fully compatible with Extended BASIC and Editor/Assembler Emulates of three floppy drives - DSK1, DSK2 and DSK3 Comes with a Compact Flash - Compact Flash is preloaded with CFMGR. Shift838
Maybe there should be a spot on the FTP site to have all the current docs/programs in once spot for the NanoPEB and CF7+ ? If there is one there I did not find it.
Omega-TI
Other than the most recent one I posted, there is the latest one I have on the CF7 and a couple of obsolete manuals. Omega-TI
Here is a minor unauthorized 'tweak' (update) of the manual to reflect V1 & v2 nanoPEB's. nanoPEB-SIO_V1&2 update.pdf
