I feel like it's fair to count those types of games. Games like The Hobbit or Amazon were certainly different from games like Deja Vu or King's Quest, where you couldn't really play the game without the images.

 

yes, and I don't think the 8-bit got any of the Sierra Kings Quest-type games or other hybrids like that.

I think this thread is winding down, so once again I'd like to thank everyone for their input. I remember may of these game, but there

are more that I've never heard of. I'm doing a little research now to pick a half dozen for her (and myself) to play.
