As the instruction manual states, there is a Super Bonus (second pic) that can be achieved for Screen 2: Surface Frogger. This is done by jumping on and off ALL the lily pads and getting to the life preserver berth safely. By doing so, over 3,000 points can be acquired for level 1, over 6,000 level 2 and so on. From level 3 and on, use the turtle for transport from the bottom to the area below the top row of alligators. As long as you are on the turtle, you can safely go from the right side of the screen reappearing on the left side. Once the score reaches 10,000, 20,000 etc., I immediately go to Screen 3: Airborne Frogger, to get the extra life. Practicing on level 3 helps in getting the faster current speeds down aswell. Once in practice, and once in reality. There is a lot of strategy to be learned in Frogger II, if you want to advance and bank some serious points.
