AtariSociety
Decided to set-up my Mega STe in my office. Maybe this way it will get weekly use. I have a nice Atari room but things tend to go stale in there... like Toy Story movie, only coming alive after I go to sleep. Maybe rotating out a system every so often and setting up in my office will mean more play time. Even slapped the Spectre GCR on there to test. Prefers a mono monitor but did work. Have to work on getting the SupraDrive running. Never used this one before on this system. Want to not wipe clean and re-install in case something good is on there. Practical Solutions wireless mouse works too. hehe Did you play Atari today? Nice rainy Sunday here in NorCal so perfect weather to stay inside and play. Tillek
Did you play Atari today? I run an Atari BBS (soon to be 2)... I >WORK< Atari every day. Any my "Atari Room" >IS< my office. But still, thanks for the pic. It's always nice to see others. Love how that monitor looks with the Mega ST(e)s.... (I have the same one on mine). AtariSociety
Cool, maybe one day I will have a need for daily use. Must say my Amiga Next Gen machines get much of that time. But classics I prefer Atari! I wish my Atari TT VGA Monitor worked on the STe. It is the one with base that meshes with the top of the TT or Mega STe case. Really sleek. But for now this SC1224 is perfect! Off to garage to find my other Atari external Hard Drives. Know I have a 30MB and maybe Syquest model out there. LOL. TJ I run an Atari BBS (soon to be 2)... +DarkLord
I'm with Tillek. I also run a BBS so that's a 24/7 proposition although I can't say it's "hands on" all the time. Then there is a Mega STe I'm working on restoring to full functionality. My STacy sees a lot of use, both at home and at at work. Still play the occasional game on my Jaguar and Lynx too. Sadly, as odd as it might seem, my Falcon and my 800XL see the least amount of use...

(and in the meantime I'll bring my sick Falcons and we can play "Atari General Hospital"). But seriously, what's wrong with the MSTE? Anything I might be able to help with? AtariSociety
I kick myself for selling my one and only Falcon last year. Low on money and bills had to be paid... I did the unthinkable and sold a couple hard to get Atari items. Figure at the going rate I will never be able to buy one again. I will have to dream of getting a TT030 and Falcon again. +DarkLord
Well, it's not so much "sick" as it needs some cosmetic restoration.
