bradhig1
I found a Coleco Telestar Arcade at Goodwill today for 5.99 and it works except the lightgun game because I am using an HD TV. I noticed two wires going to a single connection called remote control. Is the remote control for playing a game on it? I wasn't awake the sound came from the console at first and then I muted the tv and heard it. Edited April 11, 2017 by bradhig1
Zonie
good find I think it had four paddle capability, That is what the remote jacks are probably for. Edited April 17, 2017 by Zonie

bradhig1
I have cartridges 2 and 3 coming from Ebay. How hard is it to find cartridge 4?

Atari_Bill
hard enough to make it fun ... I hadn't got one but I had seen then on ebay Cart 4 can be tough! It was only available via mail order if I am remembering correctly. Only shows up very infrequently for sale. Took me forever to find one. spacecadet
Great find - these are crazy expensive on Ebay. This was technically my first console, though I usually think of the Intellivision as my first "real" console. But I had one of these and specifically remember the day I went down to the store with my family and bought it. Probably threw that one away eventually, but I've been looking for another ever since. Rarely see them for less than $300, so $5.99 is insane. Hats off to you for that.
simbalion
You got a very good find there, especially at a Goodwill! You can't find anything at the Goodwills here anymore. They all have quit taking TVs and anything else gets picked over by re-sellers.
BigO
Nice. Been looking for one of those (at a reasonable price) for years.
wolfy62
That is awesome, so rare to find anything like that in the wild anymore!
Flojomojo
It's really something to see that old thing on a newish flat screen!
bradhig1
Are there roms in the cartridges or do they just modify the system.
BigO
If I remember the particulars of this system correctly, the processor is in the cartridge.
bradhig1
Finally got cartridge 4 today. Anyone have any spare paddles for the Telstar Arcade? It has the cables for the added paddles but no paddles.
