Play online in Javatari:

Two Player Tron takes place in a large virtual world just like One Player Tron

But with a split screen where each player has their own view of the action!

Controls are simple, players are always in motion on their light cycles, and change directions with the joysticks.

The game starts and restarts automatically whenever there is a collision after a short end tune transition, and a color change indicates which player crashes.

TwoPlayerTron is compatible with the all Atari 2600 consoles including the Flashback Portable but the control scheme for the second player needs to be revised to use different keys on the AFP since there is no second joystick.

Huh. With being zoomed in so far, and having no idea about the world around me, I find this pretty frustrating. I move randomly until I crash into a wall that I couldn't see coming.

I'm not sure I ever managed to even find the second player.

I recommend zooming out significantly (which I realize it's a pretty major change), and putting a dividing line between the top and bottom.

Try OnePlayerTron as a trainer to learn the game, it has twice the playing area and time to react.

Zooming out 2x would be cool for the split screen but I would have to make a SuperCharger specific version of the game to get the extra memory or an exotic expansion scheme beyond CBS RAM.

I love Tron!!

I tried the game in the Javatari, but I don't think it works properly in my browser or something. The screen would scroll when I pushed directional buttons, but I couldn't really accomplish much as I couldn't really see what I was controlling. Graphics kept appearing and disappearing.

I love Tron too! :)

Here try the one player version in Javatari, it's much easier to navigate with more screen real estate:
