up2knowgood
Atlantis. Both Day and Night are cool scenes. Really curious to know why they decided to make two different artworks though.
toiletunes
I have a soft spot for Sears picture label variations (Gunslinger, Breakaway IV) they feel like special high end quality, even if it's just the same old common Outlaw and Breakout. Flag Capture also feels like a promise of exciting adventures- until you plug it in and are greeted with a grid of blocks.
chuckwalla
The 2600 Asteroids is my all-time favorite box art. I've got a laminated blown-up image of it hanging on the wall of my mancave... Hard to believe our beloved Atari VCS is 40 years old and going strong!

This. I really enjoy the midcentury aesthetic of Sears artwork. Apart from that, hard to say--there was a lot of really outstanding box art. I especially love the stuff Cliff Spohn did for Atari in the late '70s. Star Ship is probably my favorite; it really captures that "past vision of the future" that I love about a lot of '60s-'80s science fiction artwork.

Swami
I always liked this one that after a few looks, you saw there was a huge space city in the UFOs. And the Defender cover looked like a 70's VHS sci-fi movie cover. And that guy with the beam on his noggin.

Machine
Outlaw is my favorite. I am amazed they never got sued. It is definitely Clint Eastwood from "The Outlaw Josie Wales"..... btw, I have an original photo (8x10 of Josie Wales) with Eastwood's autograph hanging in out movie room. ventrra
Most of the Apollo Games labels/boxes (the later ones with the diagonal images. They seemed to use images that worked really well with their dark blue boxes while looking semi-realistic at the same time.

djour
I have to say I love all of the original 2600 cover art. Since I was obsessed with the movie Excalibur at the time, Warlords really struck a chord with me.
