Giant Arcade Game Warehouse Lot

It's a shame these haven't been taken better care of, and I don't know enough about them to know if they are even salvagable, but there are some rare cabinets in there from what I can tell. Including a Space War. Figure I would post it just on the off chance someone was interested

And for the record, this isn't my auction.

I just wish I knew more about arcade games and what it takes to clean them up/get them running/etc. I'm actually in San Antonio and if the price it right ($7k is a bit much) I might roll the dice on it. My fear is that it would take 2-3 times that to get them up and running again, not to mention cleaned up

If I won the lottery and needed something to occupy my time, I'd be all over this. :)

There was a working Space War on my local craigslist recently, but that one is just too old/rare for me to buy. Once it broke I'd probably be screwed.

yeah I'm betting this guy isn't going to get $7k for that lot. If it came down to like half that it would almost be worth buying just for artwork. If you couldn't get them working, just the marquees and the wood paneling on the sides would be worth more than that, and be worth saving.

I bought 27 for $2700 and they all worked, some gems were Star Wars, Punch-Out, Tron, all 3 DK's, Popeye, a Play Choice 10 vs Cabinet, a Red Tent, Burgertime, Centipede and Millipede and a SNK/Neo with dual slot board. I still have all 27 cabinets (plus a slot machine and 3 Ford 1 cent globe gumball machines) that I purchased.

Sent from my Phrenologists waiting room.
