Silverfleet
That does look pretty cool! That said, I don't know if I want to pay a slug named Slard 100 Moon Drops to get into the "Wild Zone".

+wongojack
Neat! I'll put it on the wishlist and buy it on sale <starts panicking> There are already so many retro games to play . . .
Flojomojo
Good advance press https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/09/pax-west-at-least-eight-of-ufo-50s-games-are-instant-retro-classics/ I made the dubious decision to try and play all 35 games on offer—which appear in a giant menu, looking like a bunch of NES cartridges. Every game is designed to run within the constraints of NES hardware, too, and this doesn't just mean you have to use a two-button, NES-styled controller. While each game in UFO 50 runs on a PC in the GameMaker Studio engine, they also come with deliberate technical limits to things like color palettes and maximum on-screen sprites. (Meaning, an old-school "flickering" effect pops up pretty often.) While I didn't get to all 35 games on the PAX show floor, and a few of them were one-note gimmicks in their preview state, I found enough brilliant stuff in a 40-minute mad-dash sampling to get excited about the full package. dj_convoy
Dunno if I need flicker. A bit too retro.
StopDrop&Retro
As someone who loves obscure plug and plays, I'm really looking forward to this release!
+wongojack
I admit that after playing a bit more of Retro Game Crunch that I'm getting more excited about UFO 50. Will still probably wait until it is on sale.
