+SmittyB Posted August 11, 2017 Share Posted August 11, 2017 If the sound or video quality changes in any way when you touch or move the cable then its a bad cable because it means the cable's shielding has failed. If you still have the problem after trying a few cables then try fine tuning the TV because the frequency varies a lot based on the age and temperature of the capacitors in the 7800. It took me a while to tune my TV to just the right point where it works perfectly when the 7800 is first turned on and after a few minutes when it heats up and the frequency drifts slightly.
